The firm was first established in 2001. The original practice has evolved into what is now G Banks Accountants, Tax & Business Advisers. Originally based in Edinburgh we relocated to Gairloch in the North West Highlands of Scotland in 2007, although we retain a satellite office in Balerno.

Whilst the firm now operates from Wester Ross, the client base is still spread throughout Scotland and further afield. Distance is no object.

We specialise in getting to know our clients well, so whilst we are there to ensure the compliance side of your business runs smoothly, we are always aiming to help you grow your business whilst minimising your business and personal tax liabilities.

The initial meeting is free and not time restricted. We want to get to know your business thoroughly from the beginning to ensure we can work together properly from day one. Whilst offering a professional service as expected, we do it in an informal, personal and friendly manner ensuring the client feels relaxed. All advice is given in a non-technical, down-to-earth manner so you can fully understand your accounts. We have had more than one client say to us they had never fully understood their accounts until they moved to our firm.
